This is genuinely the best one for your situation, not just entertaining. It's based on a true story about a modern cargo ship crew facing a piracy emergency, and it directly shows a lot of what your interview questions are probing for:
- Chain of command under real pressure — how the captain leads, how crew follows orders even when scared
- Calm decision-making in an emergency (ties directly to your "what would you do in an emergency" answers)
- Realistic look at commercial ship life — bridge operations, engine room, crew hierarchy, day-to-day routine before things go wrong
- A multicultural crew working together under extreme stress
Watching this will actually give you real reference points to draw on if they ask something like "how would you stay calm in a crisis" — you can speak more naturally instead of just reciting a memorized line.
